SSH keys, tunnels and SFTP
Reuse saved SSH identity safely across terminal, database and file workflows.
One saved host, multiple tools
A saved SSH host can supply its host, port, user and authentication source to an SFTP session or database tunnel. Selecting it should not require re-entering the same connection details.
Keys
Import or create supported private keys, add an optional passphrase and store shared material in an authorized vault when collaboration is required.
Tunnels
For databases, VORTΞXHQ connects to the selected SSH host first and reaches the database from that server. The database host is therefore often an internal address such as 127.0.0.1.
