Keep your account and saved work in order
Your account identifies your cloud resources, and your Vault unlocks encrypted saved work. Project folders and running processes stay on their device. Follow these guides to recover access, continue on another computer and manage retained content.
Recover the right part of the account
Email verification, password recovery and two-factor checks are account flows. Vault unlock and recovery protect a separate encryption boundary. Preserve existing keys and recoverable profile files when something will not open; resetting the login password is not a substitute for a lost encryption key.
Continue work on another device
Sign in, unlock the Vault, let supported workspace records sync and bind the project to the correct local checkout. Sync does not copy the entire Git folder or transfer a live provider process. Preserve drafts and compare conflicts before replacing a version.
Keep your work accessible
Vortex is free to use. Keep account recovery, coding-provider usage and technical cloud storage separate. Retention protects active work and does not delete project folders or connection credentials for storage quota.

Install Vortex on macOS with Apple silicon or Intel, Windows, or Linux x64. Choose an available Universal DMG, Windows installer, AppImage or deb, and keep your saved work when updating.
