Install, update and beta status

Install a supported desktop build, understand update behavior and what Public Beta means.

Install

Download the build for your operating system from the VORTΞXHQ website.
Install the macOS package or Windows installer.
Launch the app and sign in when you want Nexus sync and sharing.

Updates

VORTΞXHQ checks for signed application updates. You can also check manually from Settings. Keep the app current because database drivers, SSH behavior and cloud contracts evolve during beta.

What Public Beta means

The core developer tools are ready for daily use, but releases may still refine storage formats, permissions and interface behavior. AI Agents and final plan limits are not committed features yet. Release notes will call out migrations or compatibility changes.
